Multimedia classrooms are equipped with computers linked to a single network with high-speed Internet access. X-CLASS applicative software and SMART BOARD interactive blackboard with multimedia projector enable the use of new information technologies to their full capacity:

• teacher controls student’s activities in real time
• audio connection between teachers and students
• image and sound broadcast from teacher’s computer to the students’ computer
• possibility of graphic back-up for the teacher (“blackboard mode”) by using electronic chalk during group or individual classes
• recording and reproduction of broadcast contents from teacher’s or student’s monitor
• audio connection between the teacher and the individual student
• control over students’ microphone
• control of sound and image on students’ computer
• launching applications and web sites on students’ computer
• voice and/or image broadcast from the individual student’s computer
• monitoring and remote control of launched applications
• locking/blocking of student’s mouse and keyboard and monitor blackout
• testing of students – “quiz mode”
• two-way audio or textual communication in groups or pairs, with possibility of recording
• simultaneous two-way audio communication between groups or pairs
• broadcast of audio or textual communication in groups or pairs for other students
• textual communication “one to one” or “one to all”
• calling the teacher/responding to the teacher’s answer
• transfer and storage of data in both directions
• turning the student’s computer off
• upgrading od DLL (digital language laboratory) software
